It’s been 24 years since we installed our first system and over the time, “I have seen it all”.
It’s been challenging and as each and every month passes, it gets even more challenging.
Whether its companies that came in and took your money and now are out of business, or the lease scandal of the past eight years that promised to lower your electric bills. They had a better idea on how to run the solar industry and now they are gone.
The only thing that is left of them are you and your solar PV System that is either not working right or completely broken, all because of a poorly designed install. Maybe it’s not producing power that you were promised or you don’t even know what it’s doing, but one thing is for sure, your electric bill is getting higher and higher every month. Generate your own electric power through the net metering program. You can get a KW credit for any electricity your solar equipment overproduces. PSEG by State law has to credit the excess energy back toward your utility bill. Its called "Net Metering

Take Advantage of The Tax Credits
- New York State Tax Credit 25% to a maximum of $5000.
- Unused tax credits can be carried over to successive years and also used as well for the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT).
Important Updates
As a rule of thumb, you cannot build your system more than 110% of your average yearly electric costs. However, if you plan on buying an electric car, adding a pool, or central air conditioning, this rule can be exceeded within reasonable limits.
The Federal 30% Solar Tax Credit (ITC) has expired. The NY State Solar tax credit still exists. 25% of your solar costs capped at $5000
